Natural Granite surfaces are heat resistant, stain resistant, and are the hardest natural stone surface available for countertop applications. It is the traditional favorite of countertop materials for its unique colors and patterns, proven durability and lasting value. Granite comes in hundreds of different colors and usually have a “spattered” or “swirled” grain and can contain many colors within one block, slab, or countertop. It naturally contains fissures that are marginal variations in the composition of the natural stone. Fissures are not cracks and do not structurally impair the function or durability of granite. Instead, they add to the aesthetic appearance and uniqueness of each finished piece.
