Ranges

Most kitchens do well with the classic oven-cooktop combination of a range for both style and function. Be sure to determine your budget and available space before you decide between one of the range options; the standard slide-in freestanding range, a stainless steel commercial-style range, or a cast iron range, and more.

Ovens

If the standard range arrangement isn’t for you, you’ll want to look for a separate oven and cooktop to fit your kitchen. With a separate oven you can have so many more possibilities, such as double ovens, wall ovens, warming draws, and steam ovens. There are plenty of options to suit your style.

Cooktops

A separate cooktop will allow you to have more flexibility in your kitchen design. If you just like the look of having a wall oven and a separate cooktop, or if you like to keep your cooking and baking apart, you’ll want to find an electric or gas range cooktop.

Refrigerators

Refrigerators can take up a lot of your kitchen space, both visually and physically. Decide on how much room you’ll need for storing before you start shopping for your new refrigerator. You’ll need to consider whether you’d like counter-depth, full-depth, and built-in refrigerator models, and then decide on the finish style.

Microwaves

While microwaves aren’t the most glamorous kitchen appliance, you’ll still want it to match the rest of your new dream kitchen. Once you decide on a finish, you’ll have to choose between the countertop version or the built-in model.
