When you are measuring, you must check the measurements twice and if you have any doubts, then check it again. The renovations are being done to improve your home, so you want to do this correctly, even if you have to get someone else to do it.

Using the Wrong Tools – This can cause problems to the materials you are using, but it can also cause harm to you or the tool itself. Using the proper tools will ensure that the project can be completed correctly and that there will be no safety hazards.

Building a Small Bathroom – Adding a powder room to a home is a great way to add value and functionality. Due to the size of these rooms, they tend to be overcrowded with the sink and toilet. It can be a hassle, but to keep this problem from occurring, you have to pick the right fixtures for this space. Purchasing low-profile toilets and narrower sinks is the way to go, in these small spaces.

Not Going Green – If you are renovating your home and add “green materials,” you are ahead of the market. Right now, going green is a smart investment for your house and for you. The cost savings over time can be tremendous. The two most common reasons for not going green within their home are they don’t know how and they believe that it costs more money.
